Winter

In winter (between May and August), the climate becomes cold and wet, with average temperatures near 6°C (43°F), highs rarely exceeding 10°C (50°F), and lows that can drop below freezing to around -2°C (28°F). Precipitation increases significantly during this season, often ranging between 1,000 and 1,500 mm (39 to 59 inches), which includes snowfall that blankets the park’s higher elevations and forests.
